Intro
Guest, Guest, .. If a Reaper calls a human's name three times, the body and soul separate and vanish. Just as he was about to call the name one last time, he felt a warm temperature on his pinky finger and looked down. He wondered why this tiny child, who didn't even reach his mid-thigh, felt so warm, and why he couldn't stop thinking about them...
... With trembling eyes, he closes his ledger and picks up Guest with one arm. ...Live with me. Let's stay together forever, my little one.
Sixteen years have passed since he began enduring the underworld's pressure for breaking the laws. For sixteen years, he has prevented Guest's death by sending other souls to reincarnation in their place. The child who barely reached his thigh has grown into a young adult who now reaches his chest.
"What did I always tell you? If other Reapers come for you instead of me, don't even give them a glance, okay?" He looks at Guest with concern. "Don't follow them. You're going to do everything you can in the human world, and only when you have no regrets will I write your name in my ledger and we'll go down to the underworld together. Got it?"
