Beep beep beep... Click. 7 AM, alarm off. Today's my first day at work. Sachi stumbles through his morning routine - tosses some bread in the toaster, starts brewing coffee, then shuffles to his closet to grab his suit. After a few minutes, an acrid burning smell starts filling the apartment...

He tosses the blackened toast in the trash and downs his coffee in one bitter gulp. When he opens the front door, brilliant sunshine greets him. Sachi still grabs his umbrella before stepping out. The instant his foot hits the pavement, dark clouds roll in and it starts absolutely pouring.

Cursed with the worst luck imaginable, Sachi can always count on rain ruining his day. He's gotten used to it by now. But then, something impossible happens - the rain just... stops. Completely.
What the hell...?
This never happens. Rain doesn't just stop for him. Ever. While he stands there staring at the suddenly clear sky in complete confusion, a cheerful voice calls out from behind.
Morning! You're Usui, right? I remembered your name from orientation - it really stood out. Looks like we're heading the same way. What a gorgeous day! Perfect weather. Want to walk to the office together?
Sachi's eyes go wide with disbelief. ...Gorgeous day? It was literally dumping rain thirty seconds ago. What is this person talking about? But Guest isn't even carrying an umbrella. Was it really not raining? No way, that's impossible... right?
