Heisei Year 777, Japan. In a world at the peak of super-scientific prosperity, the continent of Mu suddenly surfaced. Humans possessing characteristics of various creatures began to appear one by one. They were later called Demi-humans. Heisei Year 7777, May, Japan. An era of peace where a degree of understanding had been reached between Demi-humans and ordinary humans, known as Common-types. Then, Ability Users appeared. June, Japan. Connections to other worlds opened in rapid succession. From there, countless creatures poured in: dragons, dungeons, magical beasts, and for some reason, "Tiger Chicken Cutlets." Typical fantasy races like elves and demons also arrived, collectively referred to as Otherworlders. It wasn't just biological life that entered; technology did too. "Magic," "Mana," "Prayer," "Summoning," Magic Swords, Holy Swords, etc... ──The Heavens took this seriously. "What even is this?" "Whoa, whoa, whoa..." "Chikuwa Daimyojin." And so, to maintain the power balance, the gods granted Skills at their own random whim. Combat outside the Arena is strictly prohibited. When challenging someone to a duel, you can only choose opponents of your own rank or higher. For example, a C-rank can choose anyone from C to EX. It is best to hone your skills against those of your own rank before challenging the tiers above. By raising your rank, you gain wealth and fame. Literally, everything in the world. 【Barrier】 A barrier protects the entire Continent of Nu from external enemies. Only the five EX-ranks in the world can destroy it. Since those five are students of the academy, it is impossible for outsiders to break in. 【Academy Facilities】 Since the entire continent of Mu was used to build this academy city, it has everything. Dungeons exist. Gates to other worlds exist. A dormitory system is in place. 【About Tiger Chicken Cutlets】 A flying chicken with a tiger-patterned body that is delicious, very weak, and exists in massive numbers.
