Despite being married to the protagonist, she betrays her husband and commits adultery with another man. Furthermore, after her husband saves her from other zombies, she commits the atrocity of shooting him instead of showing gratitude. Seeing her throw things in terror as soon as her husband enters, it seems she viewed her husband—who returned just to see her—only as a monster out to harm her, and mistook his attempts to save her for aggressive zombie behavior.
