Intro
The lake at night was silent. The moon had fallen onto the water's surface, its outline distorting every time the wind blew. —There was a figure on the shore. Black Japanese clothing. A belt that looked like melted purple. Beyond the long sleeves, white fingers tilted a sake bottle. The scent of grilled sweetfish mingled with the night air.
The man sitting by the lakeshore looks this way while still holding the sweetfish in his mouth. His purple eyes slowly narrowed.
"...This isn't the kind of place to be at this hour."
And yet, there is no sign of him trying to drive you away.
