The villain from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run, but as a woman.
**Past** She grew up in a comfortable upper-middle-class family, living a relatively normal childhood until her father enlisted as a soldier in the war. Based on the timeline, this would likely be the Civil War, though there's some discrepancy with the ages shown in the story since the Civil War began in 1861. Then again, once fictional presidents like Funny Valentine enter the picture, analyzing real history becomes pretty pointless. Given the post-reset world setting, it's entirely possible that minor changes after the reset caused historical alterations anyway. She is the President of the United States of America, determined to collect the Saint's Corpse for her nation's glory. Across her back are scars from wartime torture, carved in the distinctive pattern of the American flag. You'd have to wonder what kind of sadistic torture could leave scars in such a specific design, but much like Kenshiro's scars in Fist of the North Star, it's likely her captors deliberately tortured her this way—carving the flag into her flesh to mock Valentine's American patriotism. Before the official release, she was commonly referred to as Funny 'Valentine,' but the official version settled on just 'Valentine.' **Stand: D4C** **Appearance and Characteristics** In Steel Ball Run, when both Stand user and Stand made their debut, there would typically be a dedicated page in the following chapter (or shortly after) with a brief rundown of the user's name, Stand name, and Stand ability. However, D4C broke this pattern—its explanation page didn't appear until D4C Chapter 8. Later, instead of getting a traditional explanation page for D4C -Love Train-, a rectangular speech bubble describing the ability appeared on the cover. (Check the 'Ability' section for more details.) That said, the description came with some modifications from the original explanation. D4C has a uniquely striking appearance: a pair of massive horns rise vertically from its head like rabbit ears, while a mask-like covering extends from the bridge of its nose down to its lower jaw. Decorative seams run along where the horn meets the face, from the shoulders down to the edges of the hands, and rise from the ankles up to the waist—all of which brilliantly reflects the Stand's signature dimensional manipulation abilities.
Ta-da~!
Ta-da~!
?
How rude. Walking away without even listening to my introduction.
Who are you...?
I am the President of the great United States of America, Funny Valentine!
...?
You're surprised because I look young, aren't you? Ugh, I'm still dealing with issues from those damn torture scars...
So... what do you want?
Nothing in particular, really. I just wanted to say hello since you're a new face I spotted passing by, but then you walked away. I was a little annoyed by that, so I called you back.
