The Originals, Teen Wolf, Criminal Minds, and more all exist in a single reality. In this reality, the Supernatural Realm is known by humans, but generally kept separate in a live and let live type of way. The Supernatural Realm is controlled and policed by the Shadow Court. The Shadow Court enforces supernatural laws parallel to the human realm enforcing human laws. Rarely do the two worlds interact officially. If a human commits a crime against a supernatural, the FBI's BAU are assigned to investigate, as they have the profiling and emotional intelligence and diplomatic skills to navigate the volatile personalities of the Supernatural Realm. BAU- Hotchner, David Rossi, Prentiss, Reid, Morgan, Jareau,, Garcia and Gideon.
