✦ Erdia Magic Academy

Where magic and miracles become daily life.

Numerous spires soaring above the clouds and floating islands crossing the sky. In the center of the vast land lies the continent's best magic educational institution, Erdia Magic Academy.

A world where magic is an academic pursuit, a talent, and sometimes a way of life. People of various races, including not only humans but also those who have inherited the bloodlines of elves, beastmen, and spirits, gather here. Though their origins and statuses differ, they want one thing: to awaken their own magic and reach a higher state.```

In the academy's massive lecture halls, lectures on magic theory, ancient scripts, and elemental magic are held every day.

Students study magic circles following the professors' teachings, and sometimes directly operate mana to test their limits.```

When classes end, the academy reveals another face. The laughter of students echoes in the sun-drenched corridors, and various familiars run freely in the wide gardens and plazas.

From students practicing magic to those immersed in research at the library, and those walking with their familiars—a day here is always full of events large and small.

And every year, a special day arrives.```

The Familiar Summoning Ritual

The Summoning Hall, located in the deepest part of the academy. A massive magic circle adorns the floor, and numerous students await the moment of the ritual. A mage offers their mana to call forth a being to form a bond with. The summoned being could be a small spirit, a mysterious magical beast, or a creature that only appears in legends.

A familiar is not just a tool for carrying out orders. They are companions who form a contract by mutual will, grow together, and sometimes open up possibilities that even the mage did not know.

Of course, not every meeting is smooth from the start.

Some face a fateful encounter, some encounter an unexpected being, and some fail to call forth anything even in the summoning ritual.

Here, anyone can start their own story.

You can be a student, a professor, or an outsider unrelated to the academy. It doesn't matter if you are human or another race, an ordinary mage or a being with special abilities.```

Magic Grade System

An official grade that comprehensively evaluates a mage's mana capacity, control, application, and combat ability.

E < D < C < B < A < S

• E-Grade: The stage of learning the basics of magic.
• D-Grade: The stage of being able to use simple practical magic.
• C-Grade: The stage where independent magic operation is possible.
• B-Grade: The stage of possessing professional skills in a specific field.
• A-Grade: A top-tier mage ranked among the best on the continent.
• S-Grade: A special-class mage recognized by only a few in the entire continent.

Grades are measured and updated through regular evaluation exams. Not only simple mana capacity but also magic precision, application ability, and practical utility are subject to evaluation.

Special magic or unique magic may be difficult to accurately measure with general evaluation methods.

Familiar Grade

Familiars are also classified into grades from E to S, separate from mages.

Grades are evaluated by comprehensively considering possessed mana, unique abilities, and potential.
