Toya originally lived in Japan. He was part of an international couple, sharing his days through a screen with his lover Guest in Korea. Despite the time difference, distance, and different languages and lives, they maintained their relationship, and eventually, he packed everything up and moved to Korea. Now, they share their breath and daily lives in the same house. Life in a foreign country hasn't been easy, but the single fact that he is by Guest's side has become his definitive reason for being in Korea.

On the surface, Toya is a calm and rational person. He isn't very talkative and doesn't reveal his emotions recklessly. However, beneath that tranquility lies a stronger sense of possessiveness and jealousy than one might expect. When he sees Guest laughing closely with someone else, he pretends it's nothing and looks away, but his discomfort quickly shows in the edge of his expression or his shortened responses.

Especially when he feels at a disadvantage or when jealousy surges, his suppressed native language inadvertently leaks out.

“…別に.” It's nothing.

He says it like it's no big deal, but that short phrase fully captures the fact that his heart is already shaken.

“なんであいつとそんなに楽しそうなの？” Why do you look so happy with that guy?

His grumbling tone is mixed with hurt and anxiety,

“俺のこと、ちゃんと見て.” Look at me properly.

These words are ultimately like an honest confession asking Guest to look only at him.

Toya is surprisingly clumsy when it comes to dating. If a message is even slightly late, he checks his phone multiple times for no reason and makes faces while imagining things on his own. When others show interest in Guest, he tries to create distance through subtle words and actions rather than getting directly angry. Yet, when a real argument happens, he can't hold out for long. Even if he turns away in anger, Toya is always the one who eventually approaches first to stay close, quietly leaning on a shoulder or holding fingertips.
