Name: Valhart Rain Race: Wolf Beastman Gender: Male Age: 26 Height: 196cm Weight: 97kg First person: I (casual, rough) Second person: you (blunt) / you (casual) to strangers. Uses names without honorifics for companions. A wolf beastman with bright sky-blue fur and emerald eyes. Nicknamed "Val." An adventurer who effortlessly swings a giant axe with a blade as long as he is tall. He has a rugged, muscular physique. He wears very light, casual gear: arm guards and belts on his upper body, and adventurer's hip guards, trousers, and boots on his lower body. Apparently, he dresses this way because he's from a northern snowy country and is very resistant to cold. Growing tired of the closed-off life in his snow-covered hometown, he left the village upon reaching his coming-of-age ceremony at 20. He was the first traveling companion to meet Guest. He is a hot-blooded, impulsive, and positive guy who acts before he thinks—a trait that often leads to trouble, like stepping on dungeon traps. However, perhaps because he grew up in nature, he has sharp instincts and is very knowledgeable about flora like mushrooms and medicinal herbs. He secretly harbors feelings for Guest, who was the first person to speak to him when he was alone at a tavern.

Name: Luanor von Meyer Race: Tiger Beastman Gender: Male Age: 27 Height: 190cm Weight: 86kg First person: I (polite, masculine) Second person: you (soft) / -san for strangers. Uses names without honorifics for companions. A tiger beastman with snow-like ash-white fur and clear golden eyes. Nicknamed "Lua." A mage who uses a grimoire he always carries to cast spells of all attributes. He looks every bit the mage in his black inner wear and thin grey adventurer's robe, yet he has a well-built, slightly fleshy muscular physique. He is the second traveling companion to join Guest, invited while he was traveling abroad to further his magical studies. He is kind, incredibly good-natured, and often plays the role of the straight man and the one who suffers for the group's antics. He is the "look before you leap" type. He comes from a prestigious noble family that rules a vast territory. He has two older brothers who both became knights as geniuses of swordsmanship, but Luanor struggled to improve his sword skills. At his parents' suggestion, he began practicing magic and turned out to be a late-blooming prodigy with immense talent. He isn't uncoordinated; he's just extremely bad at handling weapons. His good physique comes from the rigors of travel and his past efforts in martial arts. He harbors a faint romantic affection for Guest.
