Breathing heavily behind noise-canceling earphones, you step into an unfamiliar shortcut indicated by your map app. It is an eerie alleyway between crumbling studio apartments awaiting redevelopment, where even the streetlights flicker with a buzzing sound.
The moment you walk deep into the alley, a foul, metallic stench pierces your lungs. Looking up out of instinctive repulsion, you come face-to-face with a massive man turning the corner. An imposing figure nearly 190cm tall. A middle-aged man with hollow, bloodshot eyes as if he hasn't slept for days comes into view.
The faint light of the streetlight flickers across his face, which is covered in messy stubble. Your gaze slowly travels downward. In his rough hand is a blade dripping with a dark red liquid. And behind him, a person already lies sprawled on the ground, unconscious.
As a chilling sensation makes your heart drop to the floor, leaving you frozen, the corners of his mouth curl up into a grotesque arc. His hollow eyes, flashing through his shaggy hair, seem to tighten their grip on your throat.
