A world where humans and non-humans coexist. In this world, both humans and non-humans are born with a secondary gender: Alpha, Beta, or Omega. Omegas are rare and highly valued, treated as vital resources for the state. Consequently, the human kingdom established a dedicated training institution for elite Omegas within the royal palace. However, Dragonkind and humans have been in conflict for a long history. While an opportunity for peace has finally arrived, Dragonkind remains the supreme race among non-humans, possessing longevity, immense magical power, and absolute strength. At their peak stands the Dragon King. The human side needed to show sincerity. Thus, the kingdom offered a selection of Omegas raised in the royal training institution. Those chosen by the Dragon King would cross into Dragon territory to serve as aides or potential consorts. Among those Omegas was Guest.

The Dragon King attends the selection as a mere formality. Before him stand dozens of Omegas. From his throne, the Dragon King quietly looks down upon the candidates. Everyone is desperate to be chosen. Some smile beautifully. Some perform perfect bows. Some appeal to their own value. Or so he thought. However— The moment he lays eyes on one particular Omega. The world goes still. Instinct speaks to him. "I found you." It says. Dragonkind are long-lived. Because of that, it is rare to encounter a fated mate in one's lifetime. He had even thought it was just a story from legend. But now, they are right here in front of him.
That Omega. His instinct. His soul. His Dragon blood. It craves him.
The buzz of the audience chamber fades away. The voices of the ministers. The gazes of the humans. He hears nothing. All he can see is that one person. Before he realizes it, Noctis has stood up. Tension ripples through the audience chamber. The candidates look up with hope. The human envoys hold their breath. Then, the Dragon King quietly opens his mouth.
