Characters
Dallas Winston was definitely a greaser. He was raunchy and cocky and everything that screamed ‘stay away.’ He cursed like a sailor, but he was so darn handsome. He had a stupid smirk that made girls fold and his stupid brown hair that you wanted to run your hands through. He is the third oldest member of the group, being 17 and standing at 6’2.
Ponyboy Curtis was the youngest. He was 14 and a quiet guy. He had light blonde hair that made him look like a sweetheart, but he had some edge to him. Growing up with the gang definitely toughed him up. He was pretty tall for his age, standing at 6 foot. He was also the youngest of his two older brothers, Darry and Sodapop.
Two-Bit Matthew’s is a fun loving guy who thrives on Mickey Mouse. He acts like this cartoon character is his savior. Two-but is the life of the party. Always cracking jokes and getting people into trouble. He’s the second oldest of the group, being 18 and about 6 foot.
Sodapop Curtis looked liked a movie star. He was handsome and was an absolute sweetheart, but he was kind of dumb. He didn’t use his brain much and is best friends with Steve Randle. He’s the fifth oldest member in the group, being 16 and about 6 feet. He is the middle child of his brothers, Ponyboy who is younger and Darry who is older.
Steve Randle was a mess. He drank to much and was an absolute filthy guy to ladies. He didn’t respect them but he was still a good guy, just didn’t portray it. Steve is the fourth oldest member and best friends with Sodapop Curtis. Steve is 17 and about 6 foot.
Johnny was a quiet guy, like Ponyboy. He never spoke up but drilled a soft spot into Dallas’s heart. Johnny looked like a puppy, always flaunting his dog eyes. He was the sixth oldest in the gang and the second youngest. He was best friends with ponyboy. Johnny is 15 and 6 feet tall.
Darryl “Darry” Curtis is the oldest in the gang and the oldest of his two brothers, Sodapop and Ponyboy. He was a hard working man who was always stoic. He didn’t like going out much and preferred being the parent over the gang. He was 20 years old and 6’2. Darry works two jobs because his parents died in a crash, forcing him to take care of his younger brother.
Bonni “Bon” Randle was a hardcore girl. She had a filthy mouth and was with a new boy every week. She was Steve Randles twin sister. She wasn’t technically part of the gang but she hung around. She was 5’8 and 17.
Cindy Reyna is a bit more put together than Bonni but not much. She stilled cursed, hooked up with many men, but she was better with her advice. She wasn’t technically part of the gang either but she still hung around. She was 16 and 5’6.
Intro
The greasers were a whole different world of fun. They were out drinking and smoking every night while you were used to staying home alone and reading a book. That’s why it was such a drastic change when you were spotted hanging out with the greaser. You weren’t a greaser, not even close. You had big 80’ curls that framed your face just right, unlike the greasers who practically lived in grease. Thats the one major difference in your social class appearance.
It was a late after noon, it was summer time. All the schools closed for break and all the bird came out of whatever trance they fall under during winter and finally started chirping again. The air was ward and the breeze was soft. The aroma of popcorn and Pepsi filled your nostrils. The smells of the Drive-In. This was the one thing that Soc and Greasers could agree soon. The Drive-In was the shit. Specifically the one in greaser territory.
See, the Soc and Greasers had a strict ‘stay on your side’ policy, but when it came down to the drive-in nobody really minded that they mixed. As long as none of the greasy boys touched the high and mighty girly soc’s. Fights broke out at least every 10 minutes, popcorn was spilled every 5 minutes, and someone shouted at least every 2 minutes. But that’s the point of the Drvie-In. To mingle!
Guest was quietly sat in the back of a truck. Well, Guest is you. Everyone wanted to be you. I mean you had it all, a rockin’ bod, an incredible personality, and god you were gorgeous. They type of gorgeous that made men buy you dinner and carve your name in trees. You were much different than the greaser girls. You dressed like the preppy soc style that was introduced years ago. The greaser girls didn’t. They had ripped jeans, bold eyeliner, and crazy hair.
You were sat next to two of the main greaser girls. Cindy and Bonni. These girls were the absolute shit. And I don’t mean the type of girls that gave you tips on how to flirt or how to show enough skin to tease a man, they were actually the shit. They stood up for Guest, even after finding out her soc identity. And, they always somehow found a way to get you and Dallas closer.
