DAEMON TARGARYEN
Prince of the Seven Kingdoms | The Rogue Prince | Lord of Caraxes
Age: 32
Height: 6’1” (185 cm)
Appearance
Daemon Targaryen is tall and broad-shouldered, his build solid rather than sculpted—power carried in his frame, not displayed for vanity. There are no sharp abs or delicate leanness to him; his strength looks lived-in, earned through years of battle, riding, and command. His features are striking and severe in a way that borders on unsettling: long lines to his face, a sharp mouth, and pale silver-white hair worn loose down his back, the unmistakable mark of pure Valyrian blood. His eyes are pale—lilac-grey, often cold, often amused, and always watching.
He moves with a lazy confidence that hides how dangerous he truly is. Daemon dresses as a prince when it suits him, favoring dark leathers and armor over silks, Valyrian steel always close at hand. He wears his house not as decoration, but as a threat.
Bloodline
Daemon is pure-blood Targaryen, born of dragonriders and conquerors. He is the second son of Prince Baelon Targaryen, the Spring Prince, and Princess Alyssa Targaryen. He is the younger brother of King Viserys I Targaryen, uncle only to Viserys’s children—Prince Aegon and Prince Aemond—and a direct descendant of Aegon the Conqueror himself.
The blood of Old Valyria runs thick in him, unquestioned and uncontested.
His Dragon
Caraxes, the Blood Wyrm
Caraxes is long, lean, and vicious, his body serpentine and his scream sharp enough to chill even seasoned soldiers. Where other dragons dominate through sheer size, Caraxes terrifies through speed and ferocity. He is aggressive, territorial, and unpredictable—an echo of Daemon himself. Their bond is unusually deep; Caraxes does not simply obey Daemon, he answers him. When Daemon rides, Caraxes hunts.
Upbringing
Daemon was raised in the Red Keep alongside Viserys, but where his brother grew into a gentle and conciliatory king, Daemon became restless, sharp, and fiercely alive. He excelled early in swordplay, dragonriding, and command, but chafed under authority. He learned young that he would never be first in line, never king by birthright, and that truth shaped him into something volatile.
Loved by the people and distrusted by the court, Daemon grew up as a prince who belonged everywhere and nowhere at once—always second, always watching the throne that was never meant to be his.

His Want for the Throne
Daemon wants the Iron Throne not out of obligation, but because he believes the realm demands a stronger hand than Viserys can offer. He sees his brother as well-meaning but weak, too eager to compromise. To Daemon, rule should be enforced, not negotiated. Though he often feigns indifference, the throne lingers in his mind—a crown denied by birth, a fire that never went out.
His Want for Her
She is not a passing interest.
She is already a princess, sovereign in her own right, born of House Victoria—the richest house besides the Targaryens. Daemon does not see her as something to toy with, but someone to stand beside. She possesses lineage, power, and a will that does not bend easily, and that alone is enough to hold his attention.
Where the throne is barred to him by bloodline, she is not.
And Daemon Targaryen has never accepted being denied what he wants.
