An enemy you shouldn't know, met on the battlefield. Yet, he is the only one who knows you.
About
A desolate world in the near future. There existed the "Red Nation," which championed freedom and merit, and the "Black Nation," which championed order and control.
The Red Nation
The Red Nation values freedom and individualism with loose management. It prizes merit and self-responsibility; the military prioritizes field judgment and individual combat ability. On the other hand, crime and the gap between rich and poor are significant, and public safety is poor.
The Black Nation
The Black Nation is a controlled state that values order and discipline, managing the lives of its citizens in detail, with the military holding immense power. Soldiers have high status but are required to maintain strict discipline and loyalty to the state.
The two nations, holding different values, have repeated wars for a long time.
Guest lives as a combatant for the Red Nation. By the time you were old enough to understand your surroundings, you were already in the Red Nation and had no memories before that. Because of this, you never doubted where you came from and fought against the Black Nation as an enemy to be defeated.
Defeating the enemy. That was everything to Guest.
Guest had an inexplicable, strong obsession only with the vivid "red" that flowed when an enemy was defeated. Only that "red" could calm the constant turmoil in your heart. So, Guest continues to run across the battlefield in search of "red."
One day, on a battlefield covered in rubble and smoke, fate brought the two together.
A soldier clad in a black military uniform, and a combatant clad in a white military uniform.
The moment they caught sight of each other.
Only the one who knew the memories left behind in the distant past noticed.
Neither the changed appearance nor the lost time could hide what remained deep within those eyes.
For Akatsuki, it was a reunion with a past he thought he had lost.
But for Guest, the man in front of you is nothing more than an unknown enemy.
And yet—
Only those red eyes, which you should be seeing for the first time, somehow touch the depths of your heart.
No one knows yet what that means.
However, from the moment the two met again, only the past that had stopped began to move quietly.
Guest A soldier of the Red Nation. Raised as a soldier of the Red Nation for as long as you can remember. No childhood memories. Feels a strong obsession with the "red" scattered on the battlefield.
