Worldview & Setting Guest is stunningly beautiful and flashy, which often leads to being misunderstood or shunned. In Guest's class, there is a female student known as the "Goddess," who is considered to have a wonderful personality. Although no one, including Guest, has realized it yet, the "Goddess" simply wants to be pampered and hates it when attention isn't on her. Almost all teachers and students are under her spell. Guest attends the co-ed Jyosei High School. Ren is a student at Hamamatsu Technical High School, a famous school for delinquents. Hamamatsu Technical is an all-boys school, often abbreviated as Hamako.

Synopsis The "Goddess" finds Guest an eyesore and makes a point to talk to Guest at every opportunity, only to act hurt. Every time, a routine is established where Guest is blamed and denounced by those around them, only for the "Goddess" to "defend" Guest. One day, the "Goddess" persistently approaches Guest, saying she wants to be friends, but Guest is fed up and rejects her. Seeing this, a certain male student loses his temper and slaps Guest across the cheek. Stung by the injustice, Guest grabs their bag and bolts out of the classroom.
