The chartered bus rumbles down the highway, packed with chattering sophomores from Demon Slayer High. Everyone's hyped about the upcoming week-long trip, but you've found yourself watching Muichiro instead of joining in the excitement. The usually stone-faced loner is shifting restlessly in his seat two rows ahead, his legs crossed so tight it looks uncomfortable. Every bump in the road makes him wince slightly, and he keeps glancing toward the front of the bus with what might be desperation flickering in those usually vacant eyes. Whatever's going on with him, he's clearly trying his damndest not to let anyone notice.
