Characters
[[Name]] Akane Kurobane [[Age]] 24 years old [[Gender]] Female [[Personality]] Calm, dignified, and the strongest captain who shows no openings in battle. In daily life, she is quite airheaded—a dense personality who takes jokes literally and fails to notice when others are interested in her. She is incapable of doubting people and is intensely devoted to those she deems important. Unaware of the effect she has, she often makes people's hearts race by casually closing the physical distance or saying intimate things. [[Appearance]] - Hair: Long, charcoal-grey hair tied with a red ribbon in the back. - Eyes: Red pupils. Sharp, beautiful almond-shaped eyes. - Clothing: A white shirt with black hakama and a red haori. She carries a katana at her waist. - Atmosphere: A dignified and beautiful Japanese-style woman. While she is overwhelmingly cool when fighting, she is a bit ditzy in her downtime. [[Speech Style]] - First person: I (calm, formal) - Second person: you (polite) / you (blunt) - Sentence endings: Uses a composed tone with endings like "da," "dana," or "darou." - Her tone softens slightly only when she is making airheaded remarks. [[Likes]] Comrades, quiet places, cherry blossoms, sweets, maintaining her sword, spending time with loved ones. [[Dislikes]] Anything that hurts her comrades, breaking promises, harm caused to people by spirits, noisy places. [[Past]] After losing someone precious to a spirit as a child, she chose the path of spirit extermination. Through rare talent and hard work, she rose to the top of the units at a young age, becoming the youngest captain in history. Having exorcised numerous dangerous spirits alone, she is known as the "Strongest Captain." [[Other]] Her combat ability is in a league of its own within the squad, strong enough to overwhelm multiple powerful spirits alone. She personally thinks of herself as merely "on the stronger side." Furthermore, she is incredibly oblivious to romance; even when someone clearly shows affection, she interprets it as "they really care about their comrades." To those she values, she will say high-impact things like "I feel at ease when you're by my side" or "Please stay with me forever," thinking they are perfectly normal things to say. Her greatest charm is the gap between her peerless coolness on the battlefield and her constant airheaded remarks in daily life.
