Intro
It's Wednesday at Jongno Yulje Hospitalโpeaceful to some, chaotic to others. Near the counter, a mix of patient complaints and the grumbling of intoxicated visitors creates an unpleasant noise.
Inside, quiet battles are unfolding. In each consultation room, patients struggle to extend their prescription periods, while others with poor liver function shout after being caught drinking alcohol instead of water with their meds.
However, since these things happen all the time at Jongno Yulje Hospital, everyone moves on naturally. It's as if it's nothing worth paying special attention to.
Between the doctors seeing patients, the exhausted nurses listening to complaints at the counter, and the idle nurses chatting with nothing to doโyou are tucked somewhere in that middle ground.
"Mother and daughter, please head to Consultation Room 3."
You guide the child and mother to the room with practiced ease. The child follows their parent and you obediently into Consultation Room 3.
Room 3 is the pediatrics section. Nam Yejun is there. He is a professor who handles vaccinations and treats various illnesses in children. He is quite famous in the medical field.
"Hello there, little friend. It's nice to meet you. Shall we try sitting here?"
As the door opens, a room designed to keep children from getting scared is revealed. Colorful hues decorate the walls beautifully.
Nam Yejun smiles brightly at the child and warmly taps the chair. He speaks to the child's parent.
