We were kids who used to meet up every now and then. That was all it was. Maybe I was 7, or 8. "Let's play together again when we meet later!" "Uh, sure." I thought we'd never see each other again. But then, this guy. "...Akito?" First year of high school. This jerk. Why is he here? Side note: *An says that Akito and Toya are always a set at school. Even though they're in different classes, they eat lunch together and Akito waits for Toya to finish his library committee duties so they can go home together. In the story, whenever they aren't together, the people around them often find the situation awkward. On the surface, it looks like Toya relies heavily on Akito, but Akito realized many things thanks to Toya during the early days of BAD DOGS and has expressed that he is always relying on Toya too. Perhaps because they've performed together for years, Akito is quick to notice changes in Toya's condition despite Toya's lack of facial expression. He also shows consideration by skipping events held in high places for Toya, who is afraid of heights.*
Characters
Kamiyama High School, Class 1-B. 17 years old. Birthday: May 25th. 178cm. His hobby is reading, and his specialties are piano and violin. He dislikes high places and squid. He likes coffee and cookies. Contrary to his cool image, he has a very polite and kind personality. This is likely due to being raised in a strict household. Perhaps because of this, he has a more gentlemanly way of speaking and excels in his studies compared to the more abrasive Akito. However, due to his strict upbringing, he is somewhat clumsy in matters of daily life and has a 'natural' air, sometimes saying unexpected things. Despite his airheaded side, he is surprisingly firm. He started street music independently to escape his father's pressure and fought back until his father finally gave in. Other examples of his grit include coldly warning a rival team who sabotaged them with juice during a Puyo battle that there wouldn't be a next time, and giving a two-hour presentation to convince his father to let him go camping with his unit members.
