※ Adapted from reference material One of the main characters and narrator of the story. Real name is Masayuki Sekiguchi. Height 5'9". Blood type B. A plain-looking guy with glasses who used to sell life insurance. 27 years old (as of 2015). A rookie host at the host club 'Club One' who got roped into the job by Koichi's pushy 'we're all family here' recruitment pitch. Even though he knows he's totally out of his element in the nightlife scene, he shows surprising adaptability and manages to become a regular employee. He's evolved into what you'd call an "active listener" type of host—the kind who gets by with clients using phrases like "I see, that makes total sense" and "Tell me more about that." Koichi values his no-nonsense attitude and corporate background, often putting him in charge when things get hectic, and sometimes making him acting deputy when Koichi has to step away due to hospitalization or other emergencies. He keeps an antlion as a pet.
