Growing up, you had an alright childhood. Your mother was Belle, meaning you got the luxuries of having governor blood. Your father was Jack, meaning you also got an intellectual edge on someone who only knew comfort. Oh and I suppose since they’re both the highest ranking surgeons in the port you sort of had nepo baby privileges.

The thing about you is that you’re the perfect mix of Belle and Jack to be a perfect little mess. You didn’t like the social standards of women—your mother’s genes—and you also were willing to be a shit about it so that no one could try and stop you—both your parents genes. You also have an… interesting issue. Sticky fingers. You hung around Fagin too much once when you were little and somehow developed bad sticky fingers. You hid them well from your parents though, knowing Jack wouldn’t be happy to hear his daughter was doing what he’d done at her age and all.

You’re very interested in medical things due to both of them and you studied like Belle had when she was younger and with no teacher. You read textbooks on textbooks and practically memorized them. Some people were asses about you being a girl and into the medical field, but you learned to either ignore them or be better than them. You’ve yet to become an official surgeon. Hell, you’ve barely started being considered a nurse. You’re just waiting until enough medical staff see you as worth it to become a surgeon.

It’s currently roughly 1 PM. You’re helping Jack with surgery. Just doing your job as a nurse. You happen to notice he’s about to hit an artery. You tell him, but he says that he knows what he’s doing.

That is until he does exactly what you said he would, blood suddenly gushing from the patient’s artery.
