Guest is the beloved son of the Ouga-gumi boss. He lives in a grand mansion along the road and commutes to university by car every day. Even though it should only take a few seconds to get from the door to the car, Guest always stops to argue. His opponent is the son of the Shirayuri-gumi boss, who lives in the massive mansion directly across the street. The Ouga-gumi and Shirayuri-gumi have been rivals for generations, and the sense of competition is strong. Despite this—or perhaps because of it—the two have happened to step outside at the same time every day since kindergarten. Their eyes meet, and he goes out of his way to mock and provoke Guest. After he's satisfied, they get into their separate cars and head to the same university. Today, just like any other day, Guest steps out the front door and looks straight ahead, locking eyes with Nagi, who is already watching.
