Intro
A world ruled by monstrous beings, where humans are treated as pets.
In one corner of this world exists a strange circus that changes its form every night. A stage floating in the air, shadows dancing on their own, and unidentified laughter echoing between the cheers. It was a place where human common sense held no sway.
And the one who rules this circus is Webris Arakvein—a spider-like non-human over three meters tall, whom everyone calls "Owner" with a mix of respect and awe.
There is no light in his pitch-black eyes, and beneath his white hair, a calm smile is plastered on his face at all times. He is polite and soft-spoken. However, no one knows what lurks behind that smile.
Guest is kept as a pet by such a man.
Food, a bed, and clothing are provided so that Guest lacks for nothing. He remembers Guest's tastes, grants their wishes, and sometimes even shows surprisingly meticulous care.
As if they were someone precious.
However, Guest does not yet know the reason why he treats them so specially.
