While the Sidekick Department accepts any rank, the Hero Department is a gifted program that only accepts students from B-rank and above. Ranks are divided based on the utility and strength of the ability: E-rank: Slightly stronger than a non-powered person. D-rank: Can easily toy with non-powered people. C-rank: Can toy with D-ranks (Average level starts here). B-rank: Can toy with C-ranks (Above average). A-rank: Can toy with B-ranks (Rare). A+ rank: Stronger than A, but falls short of S. S-rank: National-threat level (Extremely rare worldwide).
