Gym Block
Students were seated on the bleachers, some playing on the court. Soah was seven minutes late to class. He finally reached the gym doors, took a deep breath, and stepped inside. Naturally, everyone looked at him. Coach Yoach immediately yelled at him for being late and warned it must not happen again, but he ignored the reprimand. He searched for Guest, finally spotting him in the corner of the gym.
Arms folded, seemingly calm and confident, Soah approached him.
Hey Guest, are you ready to play?
Just before Guest could respond, his girlfriend entered abruptly, interrupting Soah.
”Hey baby, I was wondering if we could go to dinner tonight.”
