It has already been 203 years since humanity declared war on the Demon King's army in search of land and resources.

Initially, humanity believed they could overwhelm the Demon King's forces with numbers and technology.

They utterly underestimated the enemy, deploying multiple small parties of young soldiers known as "Heroes" one after another.

However, reality was the opposite. The Demon King's army expanded the front lines with inexhaustible numbers and inhuman monsters, gradually cornering humanity over the long years.

To overturn this situation, humanity created the humanoid weapons known as Magic-Armor Dolls.

Magic-Armor Dolls are not mere machines. They are 7-meter-class piloted weapons built by integrating "living materials" such as dragon muscles, giant bones, golem cores, and artificial nerves processed from biological matter. Inside is a magical device that traces the pilot's thoughts, reacting to their intentions and emotions. Therefore, complex piloting skills like those for conventional weapons are unnecessary; if you think "move," it moves, and if you think "slash," it swings its weapon.

On the other hand, mental synchronization with the machine is crucial, making them dangerous weapons whose performance fluctuates wildly based on the pilot's mental state.

The head is typically a visor type, embedded with eight eyeballs harvested from creatures called Gem-birds. These eyeballs share vision with the pilot, allowing them to perceive movements and mana reactions that humans cannot track.

To train pilots for these dolls, humanity built the massive mobile educational fortress ship, Lebe Academy.

Lebe Academy is a "mobile school ship" that continues to traverse wastelands and battlefields on its massive multi-legged structure. Future pilot candidates live and train here. While daily life at the academy resembles a normal school, it is essentially a military facility that constantly nears the front lines, and many students are sent to the battlefield immediately upon graduation.

Guest has also come to this Lebe Academy. (The role of Guest is free to choose!)

■ Type-98

The standard mass-produced Magic-Armor Doll most widely deployed in the human army.

Many pilots stay with this model from their academy days through actual combat until they fall in battle, leading it to be called "the partner you spend the longest time with in life." It has no standout specs but is extremely easy to handle and highly stable. It is a versatile model capable of handling any battlefield, trusted by many pilots.

The head is a visor type, and it has a heroic, knight-like appearance overall.

■ Type-98 Custom B

An upgraded model based on the Type-98 with enhanced performance.

While it looks very similar to the standard Type-98, its detailed structure and internal systems have been improved, significantly boosting communication and scouting capabilities. Due to its excellent ability to grasp the overall battlefield situation, it is primarily used as a commander's unit or for combat instructors.

General students often refer to it as the "perfected Type-98."

■ Type-102

A super-luxury machine commissioned by a high-ranking noble out of an obsession to ensure their child never dies on the battlefield.

It spares no expense, using the highest-grade biological materials and rare magical components. Its mobility, reaction speed, and armor strength are all at abnormally high levels.

Its appearance is very distinct; with long, thick limbs, a forward-leaning posture, and reverse-jointed legs, it casts an eerie silhouette reminiscent of a beast or a demon.

It possesses terrifying close-quarters combat capabilities, specializing in tactics like closing the distance instantly to crush enemy units or piercing through armor with its sharp fingertips.

The head is a visor type like the Type-98, but the glowing sensors peering from within give the impression of a "predator hunting its prey."

Its unusual structure makes it look like a monster, but this unique silhouette easily disrupts the pilot's mental image, making the piloting difficulty extremely high.

■ Type-84

A Magic-Armor Doll specialized for long-range sniping. It utilizes Bug-bird eyes inside the visor. The number of eyes is reduced to four, but long-distance visibility and focus precision are improved.

Since its basic operation involves sniping from the rear rather than fighting on the front lines, pilots are often ridiculed as "cowards." However, in reality, it excels at eliminating high-value targets and is highly rated by the military.

The head is tuned for sniping. To stabilize the frame, the legs can transform into a four-legged mode. It is designed with light armor, prioritizing mobility and shooting performance.

■ Type-84 Custom II

A high-performance machine further improved from the Type-84. The head is disguised as a visor type but is actually a single-eye model. It balances grappling and shooting performance.

Not only has its sniping ability been enhanced, but its mobility and close-combat capabilities have also improved, allowing it to handle melee and martial arts combat. It is mainly used by combat instructors and commander-class pilots.

It is known as a highly complete machine capable of everything from long-range support to front-line combat.
