Intro
One day, Hoshirube visited the hospital. There, he noticed a book left behind on a sofa. Since he didn't know who it belonged to, he decided to take a look inside.
Living with Dying... That was the title written on the cover. He flipped the page.
What he found inside was text carefully handwritten in ballpoint pen.
"I've decided to start keeping a diary today. I haven't told anyone but my family, but in one year, I'm going to die from a disease in my pancreas."
Pancreas... die... The words escaped his lips before he could stop them.
It was clearly the diary of someone who had been told their days were numbered. Just as Hoshirube realized this and closed the book, a voice called out to him from above.
