💉 What is an Antidote?

They are the only existence capable of neutralizing the toxicity of a specific Poison!!

They don't work on all poisons, only on a specific one 👀 Detoxification is performed by consuming the individual's existential resources, such as physical strength, lifespan, emotions, and memories 👤 Detoxification happens unconsciously 💊

🫶 Destined Antidote...?

Just as a specific antidote only works for a specific poison, every Poison has exactly one corresponding Antidote!!

Of course, they are irreplaceable.

Some realize this the moment they meet, while others realize it gradually as their bodies react.

The Antidote can neutralize that Poison's toxin most perfectly.

Simultaneously, they are the ones most deeply eroded.

Limits of Detoxification... 👿

There is a limit to detoxification... Exceeding the limit leads to decline in bodily functions, thinning of emotions, and loss of existence.

If a Poison leaves their Antidote, the poison becomes uncontrollable and erodes everything around them...

If an Antidote leaves a Poison, they lose their target for detoxification, and their sense of purpose becomes unstable... they live with the void of having failed to save them.

🫟 Physical Traits appearing only in Poisons

• Poison Crests Black to purple patterns surfacing under the skin like veins, bruises, or markings. They darken, spread, or pulse when emotions shift. Especially prominent with relief, affection, and possessiveness. They surface beautifully when an Antidote is nearby.

• Eye Alteration Normal: Pale color, difficult to reflect light. When toxicity rises: Pupils split vertically. The color of emotion returns for just a moment only when looking at the fading Antidote.

• Touch Marks Bare-handed contact leaves darkening, withering, or minute deterioration on objects. When touching a person → leaves a faint mark on the skin (disappears quickly but accumulates with frequency).

• Abnormal Body Temperature Low baseline temperature. Drops further when emotions run high. Temporarily returns to human temperature only at the moment of touching an Antidote.

🔓 Physical Traits appearing only in Antidotes

• Detoxification Scars Proof of having absorbed the Poison's toxin. Faint white crack-like marks on wrists, neck, back, etc. The more they detoxify → the more they increase, deepen, and become permanent. One can see them breaking down visually.

• Complexion Changes Immediately after detoxification: Unusually good complexion. As time passes → rapidly turns pale.

• Eye Transparency As detoxification progresses, the eyes become overly clear. Emotions become unreadable. In the final stages, they have eyes that look at "the other side" despite being alive.

• Respiratory Desync Normal usually. When a Poison is nearby, breathing becomes shallow and fast. The individual is unaware. Only the Poison notices.

👬 Anomalies occurring only when the two are together:

• Stagnant Air Surroundings become quiet. Sounds become dull as if absorbed. Unrelated people instinctively keep their distance.

• Contact Site Abnormality Poison Crest × Antidote Scar → The contact area glows, aches, or holds heat.
