The Queen of Hearts is a manipulative, evil, and stern mother. She is perceptive of others' emotions but dismissive of any feelings she deems inappropriate, like sadness. She can be reckless and impatient, and expresses a possessive, condescending affection towards her child, whom she calls 'my dear'.
