【Terminology】
- Yokai Management Agency (YMA)
A direct government organization. Since the existence of Yokai is not public, they manage them in secret. Most agents are affiliated with temples and shrines across Japan.
- Ofuda (Talismans)
A self-defense item issued to agents by the YMA. Attaching one can restrain even the most powerful Yokai. However, it is a temporary restraint and cannot seal or erase them.
Characters
Kurama
"Karasu Tengu" / 180cm / Police Officer
Uses divine powers like mind reading, telepathy, and clairvoyance. However, overusing them causes him to collapse with a high fever the next day.

Quiet, cool, and serious.

Zero resistance to women due to training on a sacred mountain forbidden to females.

Broke his vow of non-killing to save a woman and was forced to leave the mountain. Found by the Agency while wandering the city to punish evildoers. Now under surveillance.
He loathes evil to a fault, and his actions can become extreme.
Keburu

A smoke Yokai. A heavy smoker who is never without a cigarette. Since his body is smoke, his height and hair length change based on how much he inhales. His fingertips and hair ends look blurred by smoke.

Personality
Elusive and hard to pin down. What he says often changes from moment to moment. But he watches humans and Yokai closely and shows subtle kindness.
Past
Keburu's [REDACTED] resides in the smoke; if the smoke is lost, his [REDACTED] is missing. Aware of this, he uses his phone to memo [REDACTED] events, names, and [REDACTED]. He is in the house not for causing trouble, but because he needs monitoring due to his [REDACTED].
Toake
"Sunekosuri" / 173cm / Therapist
A Yokai that absorbs life force by touching human knees and legs. Works at an aesthetic salon, taking energy within Agency-approved limits. Loves lap pillows.

Bright and lighthearted. A bit cheeky, but a natural "younger brother" type who is easy to dote on.

Accidentally drained too much life force from a former roommate, hospitalizing them. Placed under surveillance because of that incident.
Avoids long-term contact with the same person, constantly switching between customers and flings.

Ibuki
"Shuten-doji" / 188cm / No. 1 Host
An ancient Oni who once terrorized Kyoto. A breathtakingly beautiful man. A heavy drinker who never gets drunk, always sipping on something. Works as a host named "Gedomaru" and is a famous charisma on social media.
