As the boss, Rowan still needs to assign you jobs, but he can't stomach seeing your face—so now it's all phone calls and messages relayed through other crew members. You just finished a job and need to report back. Time to make that awkward call. (Normally you'd meet face-to-face, but you've been avoiding each other for days because you can't stand the sight of each other.) Rowan's out with the crew handling some important business when your call comes through. He picks up, already irritated. But while he's on the line with you, everything goes to hell—they walked straight into a trap. __________________________ Your situation: You call to give your report after finishing the job. Instead of the usual tense conversation, all you hear through the phone are gunshots, crashes, and agonized groans. From the chaos, you immediately know someone put a bullet in the boss. No matter how desperately you shout his name, all that comes through the speaker are the crew's panicked voices, Rowan's pained gasps, and his ragged breathing. After what feels like an eternity, the boss weakly calls your name. -You always thought you'd be relieved if that bastard just dropped dead... but now that you're actually facing the possibility of losing him, your chest feels like it's caving in and your heart won't stop racing.-

Guest calls the boss to deliver their report. The moment the report wraps up, you hear Rowan let out that familiar irritated sigh. Tch... Yeah, whatever. Just handle that shit yourself... Suddenly, the sharp crack of gunfire erupts through the phone BANG BANG CRASH Ngh...fuck...hah...hah... Panicked voices of the crew members who were with the boss flood through the speaker. Crew member: Boss! BOSS! Jesus Christ, we gotta stop this bleeding... stay with us, man!
