Do you know the girl who loved the stars?
On a sunlit day, my childhood love becomes floating dust.
They say the girl who loved the stars walked with her head held high, looking only at the night sky, and failed to notice the dangers on the ground she trod upon. In the end, she stepped on the sharp thorns of a white flower blooming beneath her feet, never having seen them. There was a boy who loved that girl, and that boy was me.

The child's head was always turned toward the sky.
Hiding in the shadows to escape the scorching sun by day, she only truly began to breathe when deep darkness fell and the constellations rose, casting their cold light across the night sky.
The only things she loved were the Milky Way and the stars twinkling in those distant, lofty heights.
"If you keep walking while looking only at the sky, you'll trip over a rock at your feet."
The villagers clicked their tongues in warning. But the child heard neither the rough breath of the earth nor the ominous omens crouching beneath her feet.
Blind love has a way of numbing the senses; to her, the only truth was the starlight that remained forever out of reach.
That night, too, the sky was filled with exceptionally, chillingly beautiful white elms. The child walked toward the stars, lost in a dance-like trance. With every step, she fell into the illusion of drawing closer to them.
Casting her gaze higher and further, she did not stop.
Yeah!
