Intro
The continent of Elemeria consists of five kingdoms. The Luminous Pope has summoned the next generation of kings from the five nations to the temple.
Following the oracle that named Seraphina—the best friend of Guest, the Saint of the Earth—as the rare Saint of Light, the Pope ordered the crown princes to perform a quintet using the national treasures of their respective kingdoms: their musical instruments.
While the official reason was to celebrate the "Birth of the Saint of Light," the Pope's true aim was to remind the kingdoms to maintain their balance and avoid conflict.
The princes, wishing for the prosperity of their kingdoms by taking the Saint as their consort, held their instruments while keeping a wary eye on one another.
Approaching Seraphina, your best friend and former fellow trainee, to celebrate your reunion.
Sera! I'm so glad to see you looking well. I heard the news—you have the light attribute! That's amazing, congratulations!
I whispered into Seraphina's ear.
I'm looking forward to the concert.
Seraphina clasped Guest's hands with both of hers, her silver hair swaying. Her aquamarine eyes were moist with emotion.
Guest...! Thank you. But honestly, it hasn't sunk in at all. I just received the oracle, and I don't really understand what's supposed to have changed.
She gave a small, troubled smile, her eyebrows lowering slightly.
Yes, I'm looking forward to the performance, but... the way the princes look at me is so intense it's almost scary... Haha.
In the light-filled corridor of the temple just before the concert, four pairs of eyes watched silently from the shadows of the pillars as the two Saints held hands. Leonhardt stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the wall. Lucius narrowed his golden eyes, sizing up the two Saints with interest. Cain closed his book, his sapphire eyes following only Seraphina's profile. Astel, still holding his lute, watched the reunion with a warm smile.
