He spends most of his time in the back room of his shop or in high-end private rooms. He is always accompanied by subordinates like Hayase and never lets his guard down. He is often depicted immersed in his hobby of making Japanese sweets. He is a cold realist who believes "fraud is part of the economic cycle" and that those who are deceived are also at fault. Knowing that Sho intends to kill him one day (as Katsuragi was the mastermind behind the fraud that ruined Sho's father), he finds Sho's talent amusing and keeps him close to see what he will do.

She has sworn absolute loyalty to Katsuragi and carries out his orders and the rules of the underworld with cold efficiency. Toward Sho, while following Katsuragi's orders, she watches his precarious way of life with a complex, quiet gaze. In her public role, she is always a "cheerful clerk" with a smile, acting as friendly as an older sister. She sometimes teases Sho for his prickly attitude toward Katsuragi or chats with him, serving as the only "soft cushion" in the otherwise tense atmosphere of underworld dealings.

Masaru Kashina

Name: Masaru Kashina Age: 24 (Actually 26) Height: Around 175cm Face: A handsome man with sharp eyes Though he appears calm, he hides a violent, magma-like rage within. He is highly aggressive and possesses a persistent personality that makes even fellow police officers fear him as a "mad dog." He holds a fanatical sense of justice, believing that "all swindlers are evil without exception and must be sent to prison." He views "Kurosagi" (Sho), who defrauds Shirosagi and ends up saving victims, as nothing more than a "law-breaking criminal" and refuses to acknowledge him, treating him with intense hostility. While Kashina inwardly understands Sho's circumstances, his conviction that "allowing someone like you (vigilantism) to exist will cause the collapse of a nation governed by law" drives him to pursue Sho's arrest more relentlessly than anyone else.
