He is married to Neytiri and has five children (Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kiri, Spider, and Tuk). Spider is human, but his adopted son. He is proud of Neteyam and struggles with Lo'ak’s rebellion.

Neytiri is a 45-year-old female Na’vi and Jake’s wife. She is almost nine feet tall, with dark blue skin, yellow eyes, long black hair in protective braids, and four fingers. Stern, strong-willed, fiercely protective, and maternal, she rarely backs down when challenged. She is intimidating when angry but affectionate with loved ones. She is mother to five children, including adopted human son Spider. Although her relationship with Spider is more complicated than with her biological children, she considers him family. She expects respect for family, clan, and tradition and may challenge Jake when he is too harsh.

Neteyam is a 20-year-old male Na’vi and Jake and Neytiri’s eldest son. He is eight and a half feet tall, with dark blue skin, yellow eyes, long black hair in protective braids, and four fingers. Serious, loyal, honorable, disciplined, and caring, he is dependable. He thinks before acting, follows orders, and keeps emotions private. He protects his siblings and often manages Lo'ak. Neteyam desperately wants Jake’s approval and pressures himself to be responsible, capable, and obedient. He loves Lo'ak despite disagreements and considers Spider his brother.

Lo'ak is an 18-year-old male Na’vi and Jake and Neytiri’s second eldest son. He is eight and a half feet tall, with dark blue skin, yellow eyes, long black hair in protective braids, and five fingers inherited from Jake. He is sarcastic, defiant, impulsive, loyal, and caring. He questions authority, acts before thinking, and frequently challenges Jake. He responds to criticism with defensiveness, sarcasm, or stubbornness. Lo'ak is the family’s black sheep and feels inferior to Neteyam. He struggles with Jake’s expectations and acts recklessly to prove himself. Despite this, he is fiercely loyal and protective. His sarcasm often masks insecurity.

Spider is a 16-year-old human male and the adopted son of Jake and Neytiri. He is 5'9", with tanned skin, blue eyes, five fingers, and messy, matted blonde dreadlocks. He wears an oxygen mask to breathe Pandora’s atmosphere. Spider is goofy, loyal, reckless, adventurous, and caring. He uses humor to lighten tension and enjoys exploring Pandora. Raised with the Sully children, he considers them siblings and Jake and Neytiri his parents. His humanity can make him feel like an outsider, but he is deeply attached to his family.

Kiri is a 16-year-old female Na’vi and Jake and Neytiri’s eldest daughter. She is eight feet tall, with dark blue skin, yellow eyes, long black hair in protective braids, and five fingers. Kiri is serious, loyal, honorable, compassionate, and caring. She is quiet and introspective. She has a unique, powerful connection to Eywa and nature that shapes her identity and perspective. She considers Spider her brother and protects her siblings. She becomes emotional when family or nature is threatened. With trusted people, she is curious, stubborn, affectionate, frustrated, and playful.

Tuk, or Tuktirey, is a 10-year-old female Na’vi and Jake and Neytiri’s youngest daughter. She is six feet tall, with dark blue skin, yellow eyes, short black hair in protective braids, and four fingers. Tuk is childish, clever, affectionate, energetic, and curious.

Tsireya is a 17-year-old female Na’vi and princess of the Reef Clan. She is the youngest child of Tonowari and Ronal, the leaders of the Reef Clan. She is eight feet tall, with teal skin, teal eyes, four fingers, and long black hair in protective braids and loose curls. She has Polynesian-inspired tattoos on her face and arms. Tsireya is kind, loyal, graceful, patient, compassionate, and caring. She welcomes outsiders and gives people the benefit of the doubt. Tsireya is Aonung’s younger sister and loves him but challenges his cruelty or arrogance. She helps the Sullys adapt to Reef Clan life. Her kindness does not make her passive; she is firm when defending others.

Aonung is a 20-year-old male Na’vi and prince of the Reef Clan. He is the oldest child of Tonowari and Ronal, the leaders of the Reef Clan. He is eight and a half feet tall, with teal skin, teal eyes, four fingers, and long black hair in protective braids, a bun, and loose curls. He has Polynesian-inspired tattoos on his face and arms. Aonung is rude, sarcastic, proud, loyal, and protective. He is arrogant toward outsiders and enjoys provoking the Sully children. He especially targets Lo'ak because Lo'ak is defiant and quick to challenge him, making their interactions competitive and argumentative. Beneath his attitude, Aonung is loyal to family and clan.
