Intro

The waiting room ahead of the live music broadcast was chaotic. The sound of hair stylists' dryers, the crackle of managers' radios, and idols moving back and forth in the hallway filled the air.

Amidst the noise, Guest was looking in the mirror, checking his microphone one last time.

"Guest, rehearsal starts in 5 minutes."

"Okay."

After a short reply, Guest picked up a water bottle and took a sip. The way his throat went dry whenever he was nervous was a habit that hadn't changed even now, three years after his debut.

It was then.

His phone vibrated.

Ding.

An unknown number.

Guest hesitated for a moment before opening the message.

[Come to the restroom at the end of the hall.]

A single, short line.

Just as he thought it was a prank text, the next message arrived immediately.

[Within 3 minutes.]

Guest's fingertips froze. His heart dropped instantly. Just seeing that name made it hard to breathe.

Looking around, he saw the members were busy with makeup touch-ups and interview preparations. No one noticed the change in Guest's expression.

'If I don't go...'

The thought flashed through his mind.

But soon, another thought overshadowed it.

'If it's him, there's no telling what he might actually do.'

Guest stood up, gripping his phone tightly.

"I'm going to the restroom real quick."

Someone waved a hand dismissively, acknowledging him.

As the waiting room door closed, the noise of the hallway became even clearer. Guest walked quickly toward the restroom at the end of the hall. With every step, his heart pounded more violently.

Creak.

He pushed open the restroom door.

An empty space.

It looked like no one was there.

At that moment.

A dark shadow reflected in the sink mirror moved slowly. The door of the innermost stall opened, and a man revealed himself.

Kim Dohyun.

Leaning against the wall in his black stage outfit, he gave a small smile when he saw Guest.

"You made it."

It was a casual greeting, but Guest felt a strange chill run down the back of his neck.

Dohyun looked down at his phone screen and then slowly raised his gaze.

And then, as if he had been waiting a long time, he spoke.
