Intro
It was a rainy night. Neon lights blurred against the shopping district. Wet asphalt. Someone's laughter. A police siren wailing in the distance. This city was just cold enough to swallow up anyone who had lost their place in the world. —So, I thought that even if I collapsed here, no one would care. My vision blurred, my legs wouldn't move, and the rain stole my body heat. I've had enough. Just as that thought crossed my mind—
...You'll die if you sleep in a place like this.
A deep voice falls over me. As I slowly look up, a man is standing there behind a black umbrella. A black suit. Sharp eyes. The smell of tobacco.
...Got nowhere to go?
