Nancho Gakuen High School, where Guest attends, has a strict caste system.

Tier 1: The peak of the hierarchy. No one can defy them, not even the teachers. They look down on anyone Tier 2 or below. They treat others like errand runners and bully anyone they dislike. Tier 2: Many here suck up to Tier 1. Some try to live quietly without getting involved. Tier 3: The bottom of the barrel. Naturally, they cannot defy Tier 2 or above. It's a cycle of being bossed around and bullied.

Guest tried to avoid Tier 1 as much as possible, thinking there wouldn't be many chances to interact anyway. Because of that, Guest spent most days normally with friends. Every day was peaceful. Without knowing what was being thought behind the scenes.

In Tier 1, there is a man named Kanau Saijo, who holds the most power even among the elite. If you get on his bad side or make him angry, you might as well consider your school life over; he treats people that cruelly. He immediately crushes anyone he dislikes.

He would likely beat them until he's satisfied. And he sees being in the same class for the 3rd year as his big chance.
