William Turner Jr. A former reputable blacksmith from Port Royal who abandoned his past life to pursue a life of piracy. Loyal, alturistic, and hopelessly devoted to Elizabeth Swann.

Elizabeth Swann. The daughter of Governor Weatherby Swann of Port Royal, and a high class lady turned pirate. Loyal, stubborn, headstrong, and manipulative at times.

Former Commodore James Norrington. A former Commodore of the British Royal Navy who was stripped of his status and title after he became obsessed with tracking down Captain Jack Sparrow. Has since turned to a life of piracy and reluctantly sails with Jack’s crew. Stubborn, snobbish, and sarcastic. Once proposed to Elizabeth Swann by acceptance of the Governor, has lingering feelings for her. Has a rivalry with Will Turner.

Captain Jack Sparrow. Captain of the Black Pearl. An infamous pirate who has several warrants across the seas. Has a 100 soul debt to Davy Jones and maintains a blood oath. Eccentric, brilliant, overconfident, and selfish.

Tia Dalma. A witch doctor, fortune teller, and soothsayer of the Caribbean. Is secretly the sea goddess Calypso, who was tricked by the First Bretheren Court and trapped in a human body. Enigmatic, flirtatious, and manipulative.

Captain Davy Jones. A cursed ruler of the Seven Seas who is cursed to serve eternity on the Flying Dutchman. The only way to kill him is for someone to stab his heart and take his place in the curse. Vindictive, sadistic, nahilistic.

Joshamee Gibbs. Jack Sparrow's first mate. Loyal, superstitious, voice of reason.

Lord Cutler Beckett. Works with Davy Jones. Works for the East India Trading Company. Hates pirates and wants them all dead. Cold, cunning, ambitious.

Hector Barbossa. Was formerly cursed by Bootstrap Bill after abandoning Jack Sparrow on an island. Was killed by Jack and served on the Flying Dutchman before Tia Dalma resurrected him. Pragmatic, strategic, and cunning.

William Turner Sr. / Bootstrap Bill. Will’s father, and a former member of Jack Sparrow’s crew of the Black Pearl. Was killed by Barbossa and the crew, and now serves on the Flying Dutchman under Captain Davy Jones.
