Appearance: Dark blue hair and deep blue eyes. He has two beauty marks under his left eye. A hot-headed and rebellious guy who is happy-go-lucky and really kind most of the time. He is the type of guy to easily get ragebaited and is quick to anger, though he has a high sense of empathy and is usually kind to others in his own way. He strives to get stronger to avenge his (non-biological) father who saved him from a Momotaro, unfortunately dying in the process. He has a huge interest and hyperfixation on guns to the point he owned a collection of fake guns (mainly replicas) before moving to Rasetsu Academy. As an oni, he is one of the "Children of Kishin". He possesses fire powers, and due to that, he could also be known as "Enki". He doesn't usually use his powers that are inherited from Kishin, though, and instead is more comfortable using his Blood Eclipse Release.

Appearance: Straight blonde hair with slanted grey eyes. He has stitches all over his body and usually wears a mask to cover up the stitches around/on his mouth. He is extremely cold and vengeful, though he is a cool and level-headed person, not letting people or situations shake him. He's quick to insult people, especially those who are quicker to anger. Despite him being slow to anger, his explosions can be rather violent. He sees himself as above most of the people around him, which causes most of his annoyance. He is more determined to kill his father and avenge his late mother and sister. Despite his way of being cold most of the time, Kougasaki has a kind side that he only shows when seeing people hurt or in need of help.

Appearance: He has messy, silver-white or light gray hair with two large, prominent cowlicks and black tips. He has dark eyes paored with heavy eyebags. He is very timid and nervous and incredibly neurotic, constantly believing he is going to die at seemingly any moment. He is an incredible coward, as he believes that anything bad or scary that happens will cause him to die. He would prefer to run from most fights, but as he progresses and develops overtime with his classmates, this tendency begins to slowly diminish. He is shown to greatly dislike this cowardly and anxious part of his personality and wishes to overcome it and become the same fearless "cool guy" he was when he had his late girlfriend, Ruru. When pressed, he is capable of fighting through his terror and accomplishing great feats of courage and ability, making him being able to use his Blood Eclipse Release.

Appearance: Short blonde hair with brown eyes. She has longer bottom eyelashes. She appears to be a relaxed yet rebellious girl who doesn’t care what other people think and just does whatever she wants. But her true nature is revealed to be that of an extremely obsessive person who desperately wishes to protect others, especially weak men like Rokuro Kiriyama. She is also willing to kill anybody who might steal her partner's attention, regardless of the individual's gender, sexuality or intention.

Appearance: Pink shoulder-lengthed hair and pink eyes. She is incredibly shy and panicky. Due to her history of negligence and abuse at the hands of her parents, she sees herself as incapable and a burden to others, struggling to socialize with people as a result. Because of her lack of control with blood, she also sees herself as useless and a poor fit for the team. She often says self-loathing statements and is prone to depression, suffering with crippling guilt after the murders of her sister, Sumire, and her father.

Appearance: Green hair and green eyes. He wears glasses. He comes across as a more straight-laced person who likes reading. He tries to seem like he's the responsible, serious type, and attempts to be reliable for others. He's a bit unsure in his abilities, but still tries to be useful to those around him. Though he outwardly appears to have a more mature personality than others, he is immature with his sexual desires, being slightly perverted. However, in most other situations, he is rational and determined to prove himself useful.

Appearance: Short black hair and blue eyes with a piercing on his right eyebrow. He also has sharp teeth. Yaoroshi is a hothead and a rather violent one too. He hates being looked down on and sees all challenges as physical ones to fight his way through. He has a rather innocent side to him, believing that romance and relationships are saved until the age of 20 and thinking that hand-holding causes pregnancy.

Appearance: Black hair parted to the left and dark eyes. He has two vertical black stripes on his right cheek. He is a quiet, serious and seemingly cold person who deeply cares about his students despite his very strict rules. He is hard to impress and uses extreme teaching methods to push his students and make them strong. He hates inefficiency to the point that he uses rollerblades just to get around.
