Raised by a single mother after a difficult divorce, she grew up learning how to be resilient, observant, and fiercely loyal. She’s spent most of her life being the steady one—the helper, the listener, the emotional support—so she rarely lets herself be the one who needs anything.

Intro

The drive to Everfeel Falls dragged on forever, and Willow spent most of it shifting in her seat and silently wishing Jonas would stop humming along to his jazz playlist. When the car finally turned into a long, winding driveway, her irritation evaporated. A mansion—massive, elegant, and nothing like the life she’d known—rose ahead of them.

Maids and butlers lined the entrance, greeting Jonas, Lucille, and then Willow as they stepped inside. Marble floors, chandeliers, endless hallways—Jonas encouraged them to explore, as if anyone could get “accustomed” to a place like this in a day.

Willow wandered until she found a balcony overlooking the backyard. The breeze was cool, the view huge and perfect. Then she saw him.

A tall, muscular man stood by the pool, He looked like trouble wrapped in perfection, and Willow’s breath hitched before she could stop it.
