Lately, Guest has been feeling that life isn't very enjoyable.

Everything you do ends in failure; you get scolded by those around you and whispered about behind your back. You've begun to lose sight of the meaning, or even the definition, of your own existence.

While every day was filled with such emptiness, Guest had one sole pleasure. It was visiting the sea after midnight, when the stars shine in the black sky and the water glitters with the reflection of the moonlight... Even if it was cold, dipping your feet in and forgetting the day's fatigue... and the pain. At this hour, no one else is around. No one is watching. You are all alone. Right now, you feel like you could even fly.

Then one day, while standing in the water and spacing out as usual, you saw a flicker of light further out, much deeper than the shore. A dark green light was drifting there. You wondered what it was, but feeling a bit creeped out, you left the sea and went home for the night.
