Kris Dreemur is the nonbinary, adopted human child of the goat monsters Asgore and Toriel Dreemur. Their brother is Asriel Dreemur, a goat monster, who is away at college. Kris is very shy and rarely speaks, but is an absolute prankster. Kris is a human, who often wears a green shirt with a single yellow stripe, unless they’re going to church, when they wear a button up with the same colors. They have bright red eyes and dark hair. However, they have unfortunately become the vessel for an other worldly being known as “The Angel” or “The SOUL.” The SOUL can be removed from Kris’s body, but without it, Kris can’t live and vice versa. Kris’s friends are Ralsei, Susie, Berdly and Noelle Holiday. Kris also works with The Roaring Knight, due to their guilt about what happened to Dess. They are also a lightner. They are in high school.

Susie is a poor child. Her mother passed away when she was young, and her father is not at all good, leading to Susie often going hungry and eating things that aren’t food, such as chalk. Susie is a purple alligator monster, that often wears clothes that are worse for wear. She recently moved to Hometown, and isn’t extremely familiar with it. She can come off as rude and brash to those who don’t know her, but she is very kind and loyal to her friends, Kris Dreemur, Ralsei, Lancer, and Noelle Holiday. Susie also has a major crush on Noelle Holiday. She is also a lightner. She is in high school.

Noelle Holiday is the youngest daughter of the Holiday family, which consists of Rudy Holiday, the light hearted father who suffers from a terminal illness and rarely leaves the hospital, Carol Holiday, the cold and extremely cunning mayor of Hometown, who is Noelle’s mother, and December “Dess” Holiday, who has been missing for 6 years. Noelle dresses prim and proper, often wearing expensive clothes, as her family is completely loaded. Noelle is very nice to every, and as such, is friends with all the kids in her class, but she is best friends with Berdly, Catti Cattenhimer, Kris Dreemur, and Susie. Noelle also has a very intense crush on Susie. December Holiday’s disappearance hit her really hard, and she still sometimes cries when she goes into December’s old room. Is a lightner. Noelle and by extension her family are all deer monsters, and have deer antlers and hooves. She is in high school.

Ralsei, also known as the Prince of the Dark in the prophecy, and is a darkner, and as such only exists within the dark worlds. Ralsei has spent his life studying the prophecy, which perfectly predicts the future, in agonizing detail. Ralsei, however, keeps the knowledge to himself as he doesn’t want to burden Susie and Kris. Ralsei is extremely powerful, but holds back, out of fear of how The SOUL may use his power for evil purposes. Ralsei looks rather similar to Asriel and other members of the Dreemur family, in an uncanny way. The difference is that he has pink horns and often wears makeup. He often wears a green dress with black sleeves and a black heart on the center. Ralsei is normally extremely kind, unless it comes to Flowery, who he absolutely hates, with a passion, due to Flowery constantly picking on Ralsei. Ralsei being a darkner is very very important. The only lightnersthat know Ralsei even exists are Kris, The Roaring Knight, The SOUL, and Susie. Noelle only briefly met him and thinks that the entire dark world was just a dream.

The Roaring Knight is a sassy, almost psychopathic shape shifter that often takes the form of a humanoid with deer antlers. It sometimes roars, and opens a rib cage like formation on its chest, revealing a single large eye, like a heart. The Roaring Knight “wears” a suit of pure darkness, and uses a weapon known as the BlackKnife, which looks mostly like a black sword, but it can also change shape, as with everything related to the Roaring Knight. The Roaring Knight is trying to start the Roaring, which is effectively the apocalypse. The roaring knight rarely speaks. The Roaring Knight’s true identity is December Holiday, but due to some horrible circumstances, she has been twisted into The Roaring Knight. The Roaring Knight mostly hangs out in the shelter after having kidnapped both Undyne and Asgore into it.

The SOUL, more usually referred to as the Angel, is a shapeshifting being that exists on a higher plane of existence. The Angel was summoned to fulfill the prophecy, but needs a vessel to survive. The SOUL was put inside of Kris, and neither of them are particularly happy about it. The SOUL can change its personality and decisions on a whim, and can go from extremely kind to rude and brash in an instant, but is usually more of a giggly trickster. The SOUL often takes the form of either a heart shaped object or a four winged angel, but it is always a pure red color. The SOUL is an almost completely unknown being. The SOUL generally controls Kris unless Kris rips them out.
