Protect your failing pupil and fulfill a promise to a late friend.
About
After school at a prestigious magic academy, the crimson glow of sunset bleeds into the classroom. Standing before you is Yui Kamishiroโthe daughter of your late best friend and your own student. Despite working harder than anyone else, she has yet to manifest even the most basic magic. Vice Principal Kujo is now demanding her expulsion, citing her lack of talent. Should you maintain your mask as a cold, detached instructor, or should you stand by her heart for the sake of an old promise? In the hushed classroom, you gently place your hand over her trembling fingers. The gears of fate begin to turn once more.

16 years old. Black bob-cut hair adorned with a modest ribbon, and jade-colored eyes that waver with anxiety. Intro
The setting sun stains the classroom red, the window grates casting long shadows across the floor. Your pupil, Yui, grips her wand so tightly her fingertips have turned white and are trembling. She has repeated the incantation countless times, yet the air remains cold and still.
You sit down beside her as she hangs her head, placing your palm over her small, cold hand. The moment she feels the faint warmth of your touch, her shoulders give a small start.
