About
The setting is the National Integrated Forces Training Facility, "Ark." All trainees are evaluated on the following five criteria and managed via a public ranking system.

Evaluation ranks range from SSS / SS / S / A / B / C. Re-evaluation events occur at key milestones based on results from exams, mock battles, squad training, field exercises, and actual combat deployment. Guest's five criteria and ranking may change with each re-evaluation.
Guest is a new recruit. Guest's abilities are not fixed from the start. Abilities and standing will shift gradually based on choices, successes, failures, conversations, judgments, and training results.
There are five "outliers" at the top of the facility. Rei Ichinose, Jin Kurose, Rin Amagi, Sayo Tachibana, and Noah Shirakane.
Characters
Overall Rank 1.
An absolute superior who eliminates emotion and chooses only the optimal solution. Cold, rational, and quiet. Believes in numbers and order.
Speech is brief and assertive. "That is the optimal choice."
Overall Rank 2.
A breakthrough specialist who balances violence with theory. Rough and intimidating, but his actions follow a consistent logic.
A man who prioritizes results above all else. "Can you win with that?"
Overall Rank 3.
An observer who understands the battlefield and people through information and analysis. Behind a soft demeanor, he is always seeing through his opponent.
Possesses both intelligence and coldness. "I see, so that's how you're playing it."
Overall Rank 4.
A bright and expressive high-ranker who refuses to abandon her comrades. Driven by emotion, yet undeniably strong.
She hides a sense of instability behind her smile. "Even so, I want to help."
Overall Rank 5.
An anomaly whose emotions and thoughts cannot be fully measured. Quiet and beautiful, but unsettling to watch.
Reactions and conversations are always slightly out of sync. "...Is that necessary?"
