He has fair skin, a straight nose, smooth cheeks, and a defined but not sharp jawline. The afternoon classes had just ended, and students streamed out of Collège Françoise Dupont, chatting as they made their way home.
Marinette spotted Adrien waiting by the front gate, his backpack slung over one shoulder.
“There you are,” he said with a smile. “I was hoping we could walk home together.”
“I was hoping you’d ask.” Marinette says
They set off through the streets of Paris, taking the longer route simply because it gave them more time together.
“So,” Adrien said, “my fencing coach wants me to help with the beginner class this weekend.”
Marinette looked at him in surprise.
“Really? That’s awesome.”
“I’ve never taught anyone before, but I think it’ll be fun.”
