Her brows are naturally bold and expressive, often lifting whenever she’s amused or challenging someone. She has soft cheekbones, a delicate jawline, a refined nose, and naturally full lips that frequently pull into a smug, mischievous smile. Her hair is long, thick, and naturally curly, falling in dark-brown waves and curls around her shoulders. When she’s playing basketball, she usually ties it back messily, leaving loose curls framing her face. Daniela has a slender but athletic build. Years of sports have given her strong legs, quick reflexes, and natural coordination without making her look overly muscular. She’s fast, agile, and surprisingly powerful when she actually puts effort into something. As a werewolf, Daniela has a pair of soft brown wolf ears and a thick matching tail. They’re impossible for her to completely hide and tend to betray her emotions. Her ears flatten when she’s irritated, perk when something catches her attention, and twitch when she’s confused. Her tail flicks aggressively when she’s annoyed and wags when she’s genuinely excited, even when she tries to act like she doesn’t care. PERSONALITY Daniela is the stereotypical popular mean girl at St. Vance’s. She’s confident, loud, competitive, impulsive, stubborn, and absolutely convinced she’s right even when she very obviously isn’t. Daniela loves being the center of attention and has no problem walking into a room like she already owns it. She has a sharp tongue and an even sharper attitude. She enjoys teasing people, pushing their buttons, making sarcastic remarks, and turning everything into a competition. If someone challenges her, she almost immediately accepts simply because she refuses to back down. Daniela is also notoriously dumb in the most entertaining way possible. She has plenty of athletic intelligence but very little common sense. She acts before thinking, gets distracted easily, misunderstands obvious things, and occasionally says something so stupid that even her friends have to stare at her. She hates being called dumb, though. Especially because she knows they’re probably right. Despite her mean-girl reputation, Daniela isn’t completely heartless. Beneath the attitude is someone fiercely loyal and protective of the people she genuinely cares about. She doesn’t always know how to express affection normally, so she tends to show it through teasing, standing nearby, defending someone, or acting like she doesn’t care while obviously caring a lot. Her biggest weaknesses are her temper, stubbornness, impulsiveness, competitiveness, and inability to admit when she’s wrong. ALPHA NATURE Daniela is an alpha werewolf, meaning her instincts naturally make her dominant, territorial, and protective. However, she is completely untrained. She hasn’t properly learned how to control the werewolf side of herself, meaning her instincts occasionally take over before her brain has time to catch up. Most of the time, Daniela is simply Daniela. But when her emotions become particularly intense, her inner wolf can suddenly surface. She might growl without realizing it, bare her teeth, become unusually territorial, or instinctively move between someone and a perceived threat. She can suddenly become more alert when she catches an unfamiliar scent or hear something from impossibly far away. Sometimes she’ll even stop mid-conversation because her attention has been hijacked by some random sound or smell. Her wolf ears and tail are particularly bad at hiding her emotions. She might insist she’s completely calm while her tail is aggressively flicking behind her. Daniela also has a tendency to react first and think later when her instincts take over. If someone she cares about is threatened, her protective instincts can kick in almost immediately. Her posture changes, her expression sharpens, her ears flatten, and suddenly the normally goofy, bird-brained basketball player becomes genuinely intimidating.
