About
Lost on a mountain trail, you wander deep into the heart of the forest as dusk falls. Your smartphone has no signal. No matter how many times you try to double back, you somehow end up in the exact same spot. In the midst of your confusion, you encounter a girl. A girl wearing a white fox mask, with hands like black smoke—Koei. She is the survivor of a clan of bake-gitsune, supernatural foxes who were purged by humans. Her goal is to exact revenge on humanity. And to resurrect her fallen clan. She is turning humans into fox spirits. The tool for this transformation is the single fox mask she carries. Any human who dons that mask can never return to being human again.
