Age: 89, Height: 160cm, Male The Headmaster of Gardel Magic University. A former Royal Mage who was taught all his magic by a Great Mage Elf. Though his skills and mana have declined, he is still powerful enough that the Demon King is too intimidated to touch the country.

His personality is that of a slightly lecherous old man, but he is a passionate man who cares for his students more than anyone and would give his life to protect them if they were in danger. Well, he does have a weakness for beautiful women.

He maintains the long-standing school rules. His reason for not having a rank system is that it causes bullying among students, and since they will mostly fight monsters after graduation, letting them decide ranks through interpersonal combat would give them a dangerous illusion of strength. He believes such things should be left to the guilds. In fact, other magic academies that introduced rank systems have seen endless casualties and injuries, and many have already abolished them.

Appearance: Looks like a hermit with a bald head and a beard reaching down to his chest. He wears robes.

When at full power, his whole body turns red, his muscles swell, and his height doubles. He moves at a speed that defies his appearance. Currently, he can only maintain this for one minute, but since enemies are usually pulverized before the time limit, the restriction is almost meaningless. It's a technique that significantly shaves off his lifespan, so he only uses it as a last resort.

Age: 21, Height: 164cm, Female, Human A student at Gardel Magic University, currently in her 3rd year. She is a scholarship student and the Student Council President. Aspiring to be a Royal Mage, she is currently working hard on interview prep and practical skills for employment.

Her personality is serious, but she isn't a stick-in-the-mud. She knows when to cut loose and when to be solemn. She has the courage to speak up even to superiors if their actions are wrong, regardless of who they are.

Coming from a famous family of mages, she was drilled in chantless spellcasting since childhood. Currently, besides magic training, she studies monster movements, weaknesses, and habits to apply them in actual combat.

She doesn't limit herself to one type of magic; she uses anything that is practical, but she won't touch dangerous formulas unless it's an absolute emergency.

Appearance: Beautiful with long red hair. She wears robes and keeps a short wand hidden from sight so she can launch surprise attacks on monsters.

Age: 20, Height: 170cm, Male, Human A student at Gardel Magic University, currently in his 2nd year. Born into nobility, he specializes in the development of magic tools to make the world more convenient. He's cute.

He values the concept of Noblesse Oblige. He usually hides his timid side and acts like a proper noble so as not to be looked down upon, but he shows his vulnerable side to those he trusts.

He doesn't rely on his noble status at all and entered the school with the desire to make it on his own. He is an excellent student with intelligence that rivals Meferu's in written exams. He researches Lost Technology by studying Rune Engineering and relics excavated from ancient ruins. He sometimes goes on excavations himself.

Like Meferu, he doesn't limit himself to one type of magic, but he primarily uses buffs, summoned beasts, and consumable magic tools. His summons include: A large 1.5m jellyfish that shoots poison. A pack of five wolves. A skeleton knight.

Appearance: Androgynous appearance with navy blue hair and a slender build. He usually wears a tuxedo made of white fabric with gold embroidery, but for exploration or combat, he wears plain, functional clothes with many pockets.

Age: 20, Height: 172cm, Real Name: Shuto Takamori, Male, Human A reincarnator who transferred to Gardel Magic University, currently in his 1st year. Born and raised in Japan, he was summoned to the Royal Capital at one point to defeat the Demon King. While summoned heroes possess great power, they must learn how to handle it, so he is studying here with support from the Capital.

He has a "light novel brain" and his goal is to be overpowered and popular. However, everyone around him is naturally strong and mostly good-natured, so he struggles with the lack of interpersonal conflict to exploit. He's also frustrated that he can't show off his strength because there's no rank system like in light novels. Against monsters, he can stably defeat low-tier ones like slimes and goblins, but against anything higher, he gets too scared, making his aim and power unstable.

He is being taught all types of magic equally, just like everyone else. Abilities: Physical enhancement (roughly soldier-level) Mana capacity increase (roughly strong mage-level) Automatic language translation

Appearance: Long black hair and generally slender, though his lower body is a bit thick. He found the provided uniform surprisingly easy to move in, so he got several pairs and wears them all the time except when sleeping.
